TJ Metal Concepts was started in 2008 by Trifon Stafilis, a fully qualified boilermaker with over 14 years of hands-on experience in welding and metal fabrication. What began as a small operation in Moorabbin has grown into a trusted name for quality custom metalwork across Melbourne.
A big part of what we do is building aluminium boats under the AliCat Marine name. We've teamed up with Chris Tucker, a Naval Architect with 15 years of design experience, to offer custom catamarans and monohulls built to Chris Tucker Marine Designs plans. Trif's own passion for boating and fishing means he genuinely understands what his clients want out of a build, and works with them every step of the way to get it right.
Beyond boats, we do all things 4WD. Working alongside Peter at All Terrain 4x4 in Moorabbin and Matt at Gecko Campers, we build camper trailers, custom drawer systems, rock sliders, dashmount storage and more. We also take on structural steel, custom truck and ute bodies, fuel tanks, floating docks, and pretty much anything else that needs welding.
